Privacy Policy
We, the Cloud On LAN Apps developers is building the Read And Learn app as an open source application for Mobiles, Desktop and Web. This Application is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use this application.
Except the username opted by you while registering, This application don't collect any personal information. We recommand to choose an anonymous username and not to use real name in this application
Information Collection and Use
This application user 'username' to identify the user and associates the stories belongs to you. The 'username' is stored both in the server and the loal storage. Following are the content generated by this application that are shared with and stored on the server.
The 'Stories', 'Images' and 'Preferences' are associated with the username. The 'vocabulary' is stored in a common database across the users without any user association. Both are part of App activities and stored in server and locally cached whenever the user opens the application. All these information is used only for the functionality of this application. Don't add any personally identifiable information on stories / vocabularies.
Logging out from the application will remove the data from your local stroage and can be retrieved from server, when logging in again. If the user choose to delete the account when logging out, the Storis and Preferences will be deleted permanantly from the server and the account will be removed. There is no option to restore the account.
Third-party services
The app does not use third-party services except that the Google Translator can be opened in WebView. The privacy policy of Google Translator is here
Log Data
This application don't collect any Log Data for the current version. This policy may change in future version. Future versions may collect data from the application on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. Please check this section in Future version of the product.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service use these “cookies” to store preferences and caching. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

This version of the application don't employ third-party companies for any of the service.
Security
This application is for learning purpose with random text clips. No sensitive information is collected, stored or used. Standard https/http protocols are used to communicate with the server and the content is transmitted as plan text encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Please be aware that the content stored in local storage and the server are plan Unicode text.

Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case We discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, We immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the developers so that We will be able to do the necessary actions.

This application is under development, and this policy may be updated from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
